The best climbing routes in Finland are on climbers’ “Mecca, Olhavanvuori mountain. The experience of abseiling from 45 m high vertical rock lives on in the climber’s memories and stories for a long time.
The experience starts with a gathering on the SeikkailuviiKari base. After the gear distribution you are transported with water taxi to the Repovesi national park. The disembarkation happens at Karhunlahti dock followed by a one-kilometer hike to Olhava mountain. Up on top of the mountain the guide goes through the safety instructions, checks your gear, and gives advice for the activity. From on top of the Olhava mountain you’ll be able to enjoy the spectacular foresty views over the northern Kymenlaakso. Now it is the time to enjoy the thrill of the abseiling. Afterwards you are transported back to Hillosensalmi by water taxi. On the Hillosensalmi base there is an opportunity to have lunch.
