Taking the waterway to Repovesi National Park is an experience in itself - add to that an exploration of the bridge over Lapinsalmi, climbing the famous Katajavori steps to admire the sweeping view across the Repovesi, and you've satisfied the biggest craving.
The programme starts with a meeting at the Seikkailuviikari base. After the distribution of equipment, we will move to the beach where the excursion can begin.
The Revonraitti runs from Hillosensalmi along the Repovesi to Lapinsalmi, a distance of about 6 km. On the way back, the distance is roughly the same, but the remaining islands are circumnavigated via a different route.
Halfway through the hike, you climb up to the Repovesi National Park rest stop at Lapinsalmi, where you can visit the bridge over Lapinsalmi and the nearby Katajavuori, which requires a climb up the famous kuutinrappuset (stairs) to reach.
